If you are over 18 years old, you can also put your name on the voter list. You don't need to waste time visiting the election office, this can be done in the comfort of your home.

Voter IDs are usually issued within one month. The list of voters is updated before each election.
You can also add your name to the voter list through an offline application.
You need to complete this form and submit it to your local election registration office.
SMS Check your name on the voter list via SMS:
In order to view your name on the voter list, you need to enter your voter ID number and send it via SMS to 9211728082 or 1950. After sending this number, you will receive a message containing your ward number, voter center number and name. If the name is not found in the voter list, a message "Record not found" will be sent.
In addition, voters can also view the list through https://www.electoralsearch.in. You can find your name in the voter roll by filling in the information on the page.
